GALVESTON CHANNEL AND UPPER GALVESTON BAY 12/8,12/9.12/10

I had a party of 3 that were repeats from last week and wanted to get on some more flounder action. The flounder are were still in the channel after this big cool down as we caught out 15 flounder up to 5 lbs with 5 og them being at that mark and the rest just bering solid at 2-3 lbs. On Friday I took a Trout trip into Upper Galveston and the trout were thick. We caught over 30 fish that were an average of 3 1/2 lbs. The biggest fish was around 6-7 lbs.. On Saturday I had another flounder trip as we struggled to catch our fish but ended up with a few as the wind ws brutal and had the channel torn up and muddy, Tight lines to all.

With the month turning to December, I had some flounder trips scheduled, so I left the trout in search of Flounder. I had a party of 4 on 12/1 and we put a hurting on the flounder and they were big ones. We caught a 7 lber, 3 6 lbs, 5 5 lber and all flounder were over 20 inches. It was a solid day with steady action. My hat goes of to Ryan who was just on his GAME today. On 12/2 the flounder bite was good just not great like yesterday. The 3 man party grinded to their 15 flounder by 1130 am. our biggest was 22 inches right about 5 lbs, and 4 more pushing a touch over 20 inches . It was a solid day with all other flounder in the 15-19 inch range. Great times on the water!! Tight Lines
