Galveston Bay and Sabine Fishing Reports: December 2012

I know I have not posted in a while but i am going to do a round up of pictures for the last half on 2012. The fishing was great in June thru December. The croaker bite held strong until September for me with the extended heat we had this year. We caught quite a few Tripletail this year in the complex which is a good sign that the will coming back into the bays. The birds kicked off in Trinity and Sabine in October and held strong until November for me. Then my flounder trips were excellent for December were a lot of quantity and quality of flounder were caught this year in the channel. I have started picking up Trout fishing again at the end of December and it has been great The trout have held in the 5-9feet of water over shell with shrimp and corks doing a great deal of damage. I will try to post up 2 times a month this year for my new years resolution. Enjoy the picks and hope to see you on the water next year.
