Lower Galveston and East Bay 6/1-6/5/12

Fishing still has remained strong for the best part of June. We have been still having a very consistant trout on croaker. We still have been fishng shell in 2-4 feet of water along with some sand flats in the same depth. The wind has started to lay a little for us this week which has improved the bite dramatically. We have been close to limits daily and the fishng should remain outstanding as long as the weather cooperates. All trips have been 2 or 1 man trips and all fish have been solid keepers not many throwbacks. Please call

Lower Galveston and East Bay 5/26-5/31/12

Fishing has been great through the last part of May. The Croaker bite has been great along with Topwaters first thing in the morning. We have been concentrating over shell in 2-4feet of water and sand in the same depth of water. Between the winds blowing the fishing has remained outstanding. We have been boxing close to limits on the majority of trips I have been going out on. June is now here and the weather should start to stabalize a  little more and the fishing should remain outstanding through the rest of the summer. Please give me a call and lets do some fishing.

Lower Galveston 5/24/12

I welcomed Silvaro and his girlfriend from Ft.Worth on my boat. The weather forcast was no good with winds blowing 25 mph. Silvaro still wanted to go so we went to a protected shoreline with some clean water and the bite was on. We caught trout pretty constantly and finished up our 4 dozen croakers by 10am. They only wanted to keep 10 trout for the ride home but the 10 we kept counted no fish was under 20 inches and the were fat. We fished a sand flat in 2-3 feet of water. We had a great day on the bay despite all the wind blowing.

Lower Galveston Bay 5/13/12

I had the pleasure of  fishing with the Smith Party party for 5/13/12. We started with the croaker bite and they were killing them. The trout were very aggresive with the bite as they slammed the croaker very hard. We fished shell and sand flats in 2-4 feet of water. Water temp is hovering in the upper 70's and the fishing is only going to get better. All of the trout we solid in the 20 inch range with the biggest pushing 23 inches. We ended up with 17 trout a very solid box.

West Bay 4/27/12

Fished West Galveston Bay over shell and sand flats with a 2 boat party throwing live shrimp and popping corks. We ended up with 14 trout and 2 flounder before the winds picked up pretty good and made it difficult to fish. We had a good day on the water for a half day. Thanks again reynolds family for the great time.
