4/13/12 East Bay

Today I had a repeat customer on my boat from the fall. he is a great guy and he is learning the bay and becoming a great fisherman also. We almost canceled the trip today due to the winds blowing 20mph +. We focused on the south shoreline around drains and marshed and caught quite a few fish today. We drifted for about 4 hours in a couple of places but the fish seem to be on shell and sand mostly. We caught his 2 man limit by noon which was pretty good despite the wind. We used shrimp on corks 2 feet down and limetruese plastics on a 1/4 oz jighead. We fished mainly 3-4 foot of water today.

4/8/12

Today I ran a trip and we decided to fish for trout today. We fished shell in 4 foot of water and that was the key as we keyed in on slicks and worked shrimp with popping corks. We had our limit of trout by 11am as we caught trout between 17-24 inches. The trout re starting to move into the late spring summer patterns as the were actve on mullet and shrimp. I want to thank the Moore party for a good trip.

4/1/12 Galveston Jetties

Today I had a party of 5 that wanted to catch a;pt of fish. I decided to take them to the jetties since the trout bite has been on the inconsistant side. We had a blast burning through 2 1/2 quarts of shrimp in  4 hours as we had nonstop action on sheephead, rays, reds that we broke off  a few times. They were great and a blast. We fished close to the rocks with a 1/8 oz sinker and cuaght everything that was there. Thanks again Rob and company it was a blast
